About Kirsty

Since an early age I have enjoyed everything to do with the magic of nature. The joy of the Spring when the buds promise wonderful things for the year ahead, I was overjoyed to obtain a position in Retail that afforded me training at Hadlow a Horticultural College in Kent, Obtaining both an NVQ level 4 and a Certificate in Horticulture from then I was promoted to one of the top performing Garden Centres, I went onto study the RHS General Certificate and became a Regional Horticulturist. Taking a break to have my children I realised my work/home balance was not right for my young family and so became self employed. I have always been a keen DIY person and my job ensured my knowledge and confidence was boosted year on year. My father ran a Do-It-4-U company so again from an early age I have absorbed and done it myself!

I started Horticology in 2013 and I haven’t looked back.  I have had the absolute pleasure of being part of the growth and development of so many beautiful gardens as well as some wonderful people on the way.
